GVG’s CEO, James Claude, attended the 2024 Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR-24) held in Kampala, Uganda, from the 1st to the 4th of July. This event, organized and hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), gathered regulators and policy makers, as well as industry leaders and digital stakeholders from the public and private sectors. GSR-24 reflected ITU’s role in providing a global platform for knowledge exchange around the topic “Regulation for impact”. ITU’s Maximillian Jacobson-Gonzalez interviews James Claude, who highlights the role GVG has, in providing Big Data solutions for better governance and how data is in fact the cornerstone of the digital economy. James participated as a panelist in the session Safe and Inclusive Digital Financial Services, where he had the chance to discuss the regulatory approaches to boost a safe, secured and inclusive digital financial ecosystem.
